7:30 AM- up and getting ready to head out to Port Kinsale marina...
8:15 AM- left the dock at Colonial Beach....
9:00 AM- I am down below reading - too chilly to sit out with Ken....when I hear Ken talking on the radio...I listen...apparently there is a Navy Patrol boat next to ours...they are explaining to Ken that we are in a Hot Zone for the naval war games...they come out and target practice and we are in their zone....eee gads...we have 3-1/2 miles before we are ok...we have to stay within the yellow buoy's and when we get to J-marker we are clear....well dang...so we head where they tell us and a few min. later I hear the navy patrol on the radio warning another boater that he is in the line of fire....he has to move over as well...we are too slow a target anyhow...no fun in shooting us out of the water...needed a faster boat, bigger challange....
1:30 PM we arrive at Kinsale fuel dock.....after fueling and pump out we head over to a slip for the night....
ken listens to ballgame...Yankee's won..1st game....dbl header....playing Tampa Bay
4:00 PM we go for showers
5:00 make supper...left over spaghetti....
We went 35 miles today....we may do about the same tomorrow..heading to Reedville, VA
if all goes well....
