8:30 Left Port Kinsale Marina after the Fog had lifted....
9:30 AM- Navy Patrol out again rounding up stray boats....their message to stay clear and go between certain buoy's as the Navy Danger Zone is about to go LIVE!
We could see 2 Navy ships in the distance, but away from the path we were taking.
We left Potomac River back into the Chesapeake Bay and rounded down South to Rappahannock River up about 9 miles into Carter Creek and to Irvington, VA to the Tides Inn Resort and Marina....
5:00 PM we docked....Craig helped us...showed us where to dock and helped tie up...
We hope to do some site-seeing tomorrow, but suppose to rain all day..hope the weather man is wrong....
Can't wear jeans into restaurant and have to have reservations...what do you think....maybe out of our league....a little costly here...on top of slip cost, we have to pay $24 to use amenities...only good thing is it is after Labor Day and the rate for the boat is not as high....eeee gads.....
We went for showers, then back to the boat...ate supper and Ken's back is bothering him so he is laying down....He will get back up to watch the game on the computer...
It's 7;00 PM and all is well except the 2 blisters still on top of my toes...ouch!!!!
